Source vs Target

I would expect the "source" database to be the base used to determine what is different in the target database; and, the "target" database to be the target of the generated change script.

When I ran Open DBDiff against a pair of databases where the source contained stored procedures that were not contained in the target database, script was generated to drop the sp's from the source database; I would expect a script that creates the sp's in the target database.

This is contrary to every other database comparer that I have worked with. I believe this is either a program error or a terminology problem. The "source" database should be the source used to define the change script; and the "target" database should be the target of the changes.

Same problem here :)
I believe it's a bug.

Hello and good day

I agree with you @Netwalker48

From the Source must begin all the script generated to modify the TARGET

With no more
bye bye
