DBDiff will not run

I have installed the product and the latest patches for .NET 3.5.  When I try to open the application, I immediately get a message box that says "DBDiff has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for any inconvenience."  Any thoughts?  Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Got the same issue here (running Windows XP).
Beta 6 runs without errors!
